Why You Might Have Tests
Doctors might suggest tests to better understand what’s happening witn your health.
It’s a way to find answers, rule out problems, and make sure you get the right care.
Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- Or phone us on 0191 219 6100 or visit us between 8:15 am to 6:00 pm and we will tell you what the results are.
Questions about your results
If you want to talk to someone about your results, please send a request via our online system.
If you cannot send a request online, you can call us on 0191 219 6100 or visit us.
We are open today between 8:15 am to 6:00 pm, but please contact us later in the day as our phones lines are busiest in the mornings.
