We understand some people are worried about meningitis B after the recent outbreak in Kent. At present, the NHS is not offering vaccination to those who haven’t previously had it, except for people at higher risk. Meningitis B is rare, but please know the symptoms: fever, headache, vomiting, extreme sleepiness, dislike of bright light, or a rash. If someone seems very unwell, seek medical help immediately.
