St Anthony's Health Centre is located in Walker, Newcastle upon Tyne.

At St Anthony’s Health Centre we believe that everyone has an equal right to quality NHS healthcare regardless of social or medical situation, race or sexuality. We recognise that life experience, family and community influence people’s health. We aim to promote a friendly and open atmosphere for patients and staff and to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence.

As well as normal GP appointments we offer a full range of contraceptive services, minor surgery and joint injections and help with drug problems. Other clinics running include ante-natal, smoking cessation, mental health and health trainer. The surgery is fully accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

Surgery Opening Times:



Monday - Friday

8.30am - 6.00pm


8:30am - 11.30am (by appointment only)



Making an Appointment:

Surgery times vary but appointments are usually available between 8.30am and 11.00am, and 2.30pm and 5.30pm. Alternate weeks we have Saturday morning appointments available to improve access for people who find it hard to come during the week.

Online Services:

If you want to use online services please register with reception who will give you a password. See the panel on the right for all online options. Via this website you can make or cancel appointments, update your contact details and order repeat prescriptions.
